CLASS DESCRIPTION
This highly interactive course is designed for therapists who want to build confidence and mastery in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) through hands-on practice. Focusing on the practical application of ERP, the course uses detailed fictional case studies and step-by-step protocol facilitation to bridge the gap between theory and real-world clinical work.
Participants will actively engage in constructing exposure hierarchies, designing and facilitating ERP sessions, and troubleshooting common challenges-all within a supportive, collaborative environment. Through group discussions, ERP protocol, therapists will gain the skills and confidence needed to deliver ERP effectively, ethically, and creatively with diverse client presentations.

Apply ERP Protocols: Confidently implement ERP protocols using structured, evidence-based steps.
Case Conceptualization: Analyze fictional case studies to identify obsessions, compulsions, and avoidance behaviors, and develop individualized ERP treatment plans.
Design Exposure Hierarchies: Construct and adjust exposure hierarchies tailored to client needs and symptom severity.
Facilitate ERP Sessions: Practice leading ERP sessions, including introducing exposures, supporting clients through distress, and managing resistance or setbacks.
Troubleshoot Challenges: Identify and address common obstacles in ERP delivery, such as covert rituals, fluctuating motivation, and complex or ambiguous symptoms.
Enhance Therapeutic Skills: Strengthen communication, empathy, and alliance-building skills while facilitating ERP.
Reflect and Grow: Assess personal strengths and areas for growth in ERP delivery, and develop a plan for continued skill development and supervision.

She uses evidence based behavioral approaches like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy , Radically Open DBT & Exposure and Response Prevention to help her clients achieve better outcomes through tangible coaching methods that build self esteem without neutralizing triggers. She is BTTI trained through the IOCDF, and has participated in paid consultation to increase her learning. Furthermore, she also offers trauma processing using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Deep Brain Reorienting for long term solutions with maximum impact.
