Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Series
In the first part- Differentiating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders, we will examine Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, and other differential diagnoses by comparing and contrasting them. Part 2, The Art of Exposure and Response Prevention, focuses on learning the gold standard treatment for OCD, which can also be applied to other diagnoses. In part 3, Advanced Neurodivergence: OCD, we investigate the intersection of Autism and ADHD with OCD. Part 4 of the series, Mastering Complex OCD Cases, will cover strategies for when ERP is ineffective, ensuring we can assist all our clients with ERP. Childhood Sexual Behaviors: When is it a Concern?

In this ever-evolving series, we begin with an introduction to the concept of Neurodivergence within the therapy setting. Part 2 focuses on enhancing our understanding of individuals with Autism in our practice. Part 3 provides insights into how OCD intersects with ADHD and Autism. This is followed by Part 3 which examines the co-occurrence, contribution, or misdiagnosis of Neurodivergence in the context of trauma, particularly with dissociation. Additionally, Part 4 offers an in-depth exploration of ADHD, with more topics to be covered in the future.
